Announcing the Elite 8 Teams
The Brewer Foundation and New York University are proud to announce the results of the “Sweet 16” round of the 24th annual International Public Policy Forum (IPPF) – the only contest that gives high school students around the world the opportunity to engage in written and oral debates on issues of public policy.

The advancing "Elite 8" teams earn an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City to compete in the IPPF Finals on May 3, 2025. There, the IPPF World Champion will be awarded a $10,000 grand prize.

Congratulations to each of our "Sweet 16" teams. Your teams stood out in what was the second-largest field in IPPF history. Our judges were thoroughly impressed by the depth of research, clarity of thought, and strength of advocacy demonstrated throughout the competition.
